Delivery & Packaging

Order processing

The usual processing time for an order is 5-10 days as every piece is hand made, although I am often able to process and despatch orders on the same or next working day if I have the item already made. If you are in a hurry, please email me and I will do my best to help.

If your item requires a hallmark this can add time to processing and I will let you know about this when you order.

For bespoke, custom, altered, or personalised pieces, I will discuss the timeframe with you personally, as this will depend on the individual item.

Shipping 

All orders will be delivered by Royal Mail Special Delivery. Delivery usually takes 1-2 business days and are tracked from me to you. Delivery fees are included in the price of your item.

Orders are always despatched as quickly as possible but delivery times may vary due to unforeseen circumstances and I am unable to guarantee exact dates once items are posted. 

All items will be sent to the shipping address supplied with the order.

I choose not to ship overseas in order to reduce carbon emissions associated with freight transport. Plus there are many talented jewellery makers all over the world!

Packaging & Gift Messages

Every item of Ellen McK Jewellery is presented beautifully wrapped in tissue paper and pretty aluminium branded tins. These are the ultimate recyclable containers and sit very nicely with my wish to tread lightly on the earth. Also, who would ever throw away a pretty wee tin?

Orders are sent out in cardboard mailing boxes, mailing bags or padded envelopes as appropriate, and all packaging materials used are as environmentally friendly as possibly; being either recyclable/reusable and/or biodegradable/compostable.

To send a gift, add the recipient’s name and address in the shipping section and add a gift message at checkout. I will include a handwritten note and will not include the order form.
